Mahler 2nd Symphony

Attended (together with Raluca and a well-behaving Theodor) the world famous Simphony no.5 („Resurrection”) by Gustav Mahler. It was a success, due to its conductor, too: Meïr Minsky. At some points, there were a few musicians from the orchestra who were playing from the hall rather than from the stage, others were playing from the doorway which led to the backstage - Stereo (if not Dolby Stereo) sound avant la lettre, one may say.
Forceful and impressive piece of music (whose premiere coincided with the birth of the cinema: December 1895), quite a large audience.
